Can anyone give me the lowdown on Western, I am studying POLI SCI/INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS and to be honest just want an easy school with LOTS of skiing. So how is the town/people/acedemics/etc.?
talking to some local chicks up a cb last year, they said that western state=wasted state (sounds good to me) and your right next to the 4 of the best resorts in the world- cb, silverton, wolf, and monarch(its small, but snow is phenom). if i didnt have to get a real job after college, i would have chosen that or ft lewis or colorado mtn college instead of CU, but i really cant complain!
Dude you want to ski a lot and do little studying, I don't think a school in gunnison which is like 15 min. from crested butte is the school for you. I mean crested butte just may be the best resort in colorado, but I mean the lines there are terrible everyone from denver and the front range go there to ski. I wouldn't go to school there if you want to ski, I would try something in Kansas or maybe on the east coast
