Reed College yo

i heard its a really good shcool from my civics teacher and thast about all i can ofer

lewis and clark is good also.

I live 2 blocks away from reed and well lets just say its different. Im not trying to put it down, it was rated one of the best alternative schools in the nation, but it is ETREMELY liberal. Im not sure what your interests are but for the most part Reed is made up of a bunch of hippies(#1 weed use school multiple years in a row). Thats my take on reed

Reed is an incredibly difficult school where the only students who make it through are the ones serious enough about their education to work their fucking asses off. If you aren't serious about whatever it is you want to learn, don't go to Reed. Of course, the upside is that since Reedies work so hard, they party even harder to relieve the stress. If you like to do drugs, consider Reed.

And no, Reed is primarily NOT a 'hippie' school. Reed is composed mostly of self-conscious indy kids, with the remainder being dirt-rich kids trying to be indy and cool as well. If you want pot-smoking hippies, rail jams on campus (one coming up in december) and a badass ski and snowboard club, check Lewis & Clark!

Yeah dude if you don't know much about Reed don't even apply, it's a great school but you go there if you really know what you want to be doing and are ready to get it done. If you want to ski a bit and go to college I suggest a state schoool or even C.C. your first year. That way you can kind of goof off, ski get some general ed stuff done and try to figure out what you really want to do with your education without forking out loads of cash for a school like Reed which 90% of people wouldn't like or appreciate anyway.
