i need some tips on stepping onto rails as i live thousands of miles away from my nearest ski resort or any form of snow, but am thinking about trying to do some step-ons to some hand rails around my area. so some tips wouldnt go astray if anyone knows anything at all about how i should go about it. cheers!

what you need to do is step on to the rail then slide it and stomp it, but you need snow for the take off and landing so i suggest investing in a snowmaker and waiting for a really cold night make some snow and your set to go

i mean just stepping onto it...like off a platform, then maybe using some carpet for the landing

yea u can just step onto rails, make sure your doing it from straight on though, that helps, and that the rail isnt too sticky otherwise you're just not gonna slide or youre gonna get messed up.

DUDE! I step on to rails all summer long! its fun, and can be super tough. Firt buy a seven foot by 2 foot plank or so and reinforce it somehow with like 2x4s or anything that u can lay across 2 rails. then go hunting, if there are not 2 rails to lie the board across, try looking for trashcans, barrels, (or we even tried using a computer desk in a dumpster once). Its pretty straight forward . have fun and good luck!

dude, you can seriusly kill yourself though. Look at liam's crash on a double kink in the high five bonus. He screwd up his back.

cut a pvc pipe in half the long way and mount each half on a board. then you got a portable slippery set up that has lots of potential configurations
