I grew up skiing at Welch, moved to Big Sky for a few years and now am back riding at Welch. Do you know anything about the MFA, or what?

MFA is bassically the name for central div for USSA. There will be a number of comps this year mainly at Hyland and Spirit but also branching out to a couple wisconsin venues. If you want to compete nationally this is a good place to start, and qualify for either junior olympics or nationals. if you just want to have fun in competitions this is a good place to be judge by people how know their stuff.

Yeah, I guess I did know that much. I am definately going to compete. I am more looking at trying to find out how to get signed up, when they have the sign/up or informational meeting, and to hook up with some other folks that will be skiing in it and see if they wanna hang.

Sounds like the "dough" part was a bitch huh? I would be into it still though if for no other reason but to hook up with some other people who rip. Are any of you going to do it again this year?

Is nybora free to sign up? I used to live near buck but moved to Minnetonka so buck is pretty far away. I'm deciding whether to get a pass at hyland or buck this year and i still haven't decided yet. If nybora was free.. I would probably get the pass at hyland just so i could ski with em, but what do you guys think?

Drew you should compete again this year but I do hear you about the poor college kid.
Nybora does cost but I always thought it was worth it and if you're living in minnetonka get the pass at hyland. buck would be way to far. But yeah it does cost and no prize money but that's not what it's all about if you want to compete then do it.
