Building a drop in ramp

OK so I want to build a ramp this year to do some urban jibbing,, so I jsut wanted to get an idea on how some people have made theirs,, like the size and materials u used..

I was thinkin of building one to. I'm guessing just like 2 or 3 feet high is all you need

just use some 2x4s and all you do basically is build a table with cross bars for support then for the ramp use some 2x4s and make a frame then mount some ply wood on it

just make a flat peice out of 2x8s joined laterally by 3 1x4s. this gives you a surface to put snow on that you can lean against anything

I made mine 7 feet tall but the drop in is really skinny... um i made it with screws so i could take it apart and i used wood

mine is 4x4 at the top, 6 tall, 12' ramp 4 wide. dont expect to be able to move that though.

buy the new snowboarding (i think snowboarding, its this months mag and its pink) im pretty sure they have an article on how to build a portable drop in ramp that folds up

we r making one 4 feet wide and 35 feet high
off the roof of our garage buliding it out of 2x4 s and putting carpet on the whole thing to make the snow stick
