Mushroom Trip

I triped on saterday and rethought my life. I was convinced at the time i would drop out of school if the next day were to come (which i didnt think would). I was on a hill and whenever i looked at the ground the hill was slowly ozzing down, so i tryed to stop it with my hands. I forgot how to interact, when someone said something i understood the words but i didnt know there tone (like it they where happy mad sad or anything else). Then i watched the sun set, but not like normal. I watched it drop from mid sky the mountains in what seemed like a few seconds. Time was irrelivent.

Just thought i would share

i don't do drugs because i can't afford them? HAHAHAHA buddy, let me tell you.. you take a ride with me in my car, and i can guarantee i will make you shit your pants the instant i step down with my right foot. you think i get something like that by not being able to afford 20 bucks a day for some random drug? haha, you've got a lot to learn before you make a post trying to be funny.

People who rip on drugs haven't done them before. Don't get high and mighty over something you know nothing about. Research from the university of Saskatchewan suggest the pot actually stimulates brain cells in a positive way. Unless you're alowing drugs to consume your life...living for that next high, there's nothing wrong with it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply ignorant. Just because you're scared of it, doesn't make it wrong.

ive smoked quite a bit of pot in my day, but i dont want to continue and i dont reccomend it to anyone. so what you are saying is not exactly true, and im a prime example of why ^... i think.

The problem with drugs is people dont know when to stop. I find Smoking every once in a while to be very beneficial to my mental well being. Its a great way to just chill out and relax and clear my mind.I dislike on the other hand smoking myslef stupid becuase i lose that clarity about myself and drift into stupidity. . The problem is the like any other drug with abuse it has negative effects. I have seen plenty of people consumed by drugs not being able to enjoy them selves in a normal state any more. That being said, Many drugs out there have many benifits when used sparingly, but all have negative effects when abused. This go for perscribed and over the counter drugs as well. Anybody who says illegal drugsare bad, clearly either doesnt know what they are tlaking about or has an agenda they are trying to forfill.

somehow this thread got changed to talking about weed or other smoked drugs... i was talking about the original thread topic, mushrooms. when you smoke weed... okay, so you're not satan in the flesh, i don't hate you simply because you smoke. i have a few friends who do on occasion. i think they're pretty retarded for doing it, but i know that some people can still function. when you eat shrooms you are a fuck up. plain and simple. you have serious problems. i don't care whether it's once a day or once a year, there is a huge problem with doing it. and once again, if you are too stupid to figure that out, then you just might as well keep eating shrooms because you're not going to do much more with your life anyway.

and by the way.. ^^^to that little bitch up there.. you live on the east coast, come see me in philly. i'll show you how much of a bitch i am. i race SCCA and show at RS*R drift events. i'm also at Holstein every saturday night racing with the big boys. come and play fucker.

you keep talking about how you will have a family and a nice house and a good job while mushroom users are living in their parents basements'. even if that does come true, what makes you superior? your material posessions and personal wealth do not make you a happier person. while you sit in your cubicle and crunch numbers, the "mushroom user" might be tripping his balls off and having a great time. so who's to say whats right?

If your skin "melts off" or you see "monsters" you either took an insane dosage or you're completely full of shit. I've taken ungodly amounts in my day and tripped hard as fuck but NEVER have I even come close to seeing shit that isn't there. Everything is exaggerated and there's some perceived motion in objects.
The only person I know to have seen things that weren't there was a friend who took 17 grams. We convinced him he was dead.

If you're a person who freaks out easily under the influence, I would suggest taking a small dosage, approximately 1.5-2 grams (2 being a big stretch). Do it with a close friend and someone who has done it before.

If you have any other questions, visit erowid.org and read up it. I would recommend anyone who is planning tryin a new substance to read that site's info on the given substance prior to doing it.

There's nothing wrong with experimenting, but doing it without knowing some hard facts first is like putting a 10 year old behind the wheel of car.

I like your point, but I personally "got the message" from drugs and preverbially "hung up the phone." Some people can live fulfilling, responsible lives and use drugs. Others can't or don't want to.

As long as you're doing what you want to do, are happy, and trying to help others, I don't think anyone has the right to say what's better.

Allright, to clarify, it was not a very intense visual, I looked down at my hands and arms and since i'm a pretty skinny kid , you can see the bones in my hands through the skin, so I thought of what it would look like if i was one of them dancin skeletons with the top hats and the caines ( you know ). and then it actaully happened, every time i would look down at my hands the skin would dissapeer and i could see the bones. and then this big ass willow tree was being hit by someones proch light from the back, and it turned into this crazy skull thing... and i took 5 grams on my second time ever doing mush, so i was pretty messed up and i think we took too many. shizam !

I think watching any movie while tripping is kind of a waste, but to each their own...

I love this guy that's calling anybody who has ever done mushrooms a "fuck up". You have no idea what you are talking about. I'm glad you have a nice car, but you sound like a real meathead.

I've tripped about 30 times, and haven't in a year probably, just cause I did kind of overdo it, and my last trips weren't very good. But I'd highly recommend it to any level headed, adventurous sort of person. The experience is really like nothing else.
