wow, i really don't know what to think about these. i wonder how they ski. i guess you have to buy them individually. this shit is crazy haha. yea, dunno if there has already been a thread on this already but i thought it was very interesting
i hate not knowing sneaky shit like that...seriously...what going on right now then? Armada's testing snowboards and burtons got a secret pro ski team?
on a serious note...i think i could see Line making a snowboard. Pollard seemes to be a masive influnce in what is designed there and since he snowboards a lot I could see them making one.
I won't support them because of their affiliation with GNU and refusal to stand behind their product.
My store was at the time the largest GNU account in North America. My coworker had his Altered Genetics for 2 snow days when the topsheet cracked and delamed. No impact, no rails ever, no nothing, just a stress crack that delamed the topsheet. GNU informed us that they believed it was rider caused and that they would not stand behind any kind of warranty or repair. What a way to take care of your accounts and customers.
i could see line never making a snowboard...i definitely know what you're sayin but i just don't think they'd do it. Snowboard companies should make snowboards, and ski companies should make skis. i don't think i like this inter-breeding, i didn't work in louisiana and it won't work in the snow industry
haha thats the best marketing plan ever. i love the whole "buy one for 175. 2 for better balance and 3 if you lose one in the poweder." its genious. and the buy one get one free thing. wow its just so inventive and sneaky hahaha.
See, i have mixed emotions about this. I heard, that in the beginning they just made them, so they can get the patent, and no one else can do it... and in fact, they still hate skiing. Then i heard that those guys who work in the factory made some for themselves, and they decided to roll with it. And, the recent involvment with Mike Wilson, definately means they're gonna launch some sorta skiing thing. So, i imagine they'll put together a team, and get into skiing a little more.
