if you're gonna get those bindings you're a god damn balla fo life. they're expensive as hell. made by a company called vist or some shit...only diff. between the 4frnt's and the original bindings is a bit stiff of plates...in my opinion they aren't worth the money

I've heard that they are really good bindings (hence the price) but I bet if you got looks, they would work just as well, and a bit cheaper

^agreed, Eventhough they say they have 2 years of testing you dont know how they will work because most testing was done by pro's who are way better than the average skier. I say go for it if your an amazing skier, but if not just wait.

umm kinda technical question but does anybody know if 4frnt bindings have the pivot heel? rossignol ditched it so that means line did too....and i loved pivot heel.

If 4frnt made Plamo binders, I'd buy them even if they were $1000.

Use the search bar to look up more info. There was a post with a link to the TGR thread and a lot of people on there was saying taht the vist bindings are old/failed nordica bindings or something. I don't exactly remember, so you're going to have to look it up.

The actual binding has been out for 4 years now. 3 of those years has been spent strictly on the WC circuit under VIST. It's proven to work.
If you check the new Powder buyers guide, it comes out lighter than a Look/Rossi or Salomon.

vist bindings are good but they are damn expensive, not worth the money. Just get a pair of p12s for half the price and if those break just get another price of one 4frnt one. It pretty much a brand name thing. 4frnt stamps their name on a pair of bindings and then marks it up $100

ok i have them they are light as hell fucking they look bullet proff but only one god damn problem i have no idea how to mount them i think i need the old nordica jigs cuz the screws are a little closer than my old binders were so the holes in my skis are to far apart and now im just in a big poop and i have to pay the people at my shop but they do look like you could bomb them and they would be perfect i got the 412's cuz i only weigh 120 def get them

i rode on deadbolts all last season and i ordered another pair this year. best binding i have eve ridden on. it never pre-releases when you dont want it to (especially landing switch) but still releases when you need them to.

This thread is old..
and I retract my previous statement. I'd much rather have these over the new look/rossi.
