I thought the film was a little weak...they are going for a Warren Miller feel and somewhat failed...the big mountain was quite repetitive, the racing on the big mountain was not very entertaining as I was about to fall asleep...the overall highlights were Hugo, Rory, Abma, Pep, and Pollard. Overall I give the movie a 3/10 because the intro was funny and the above parts. Other than that, if you want good big mountain I heard Tangerine Dream was alot better.

I thought it was pretty good. I think Pep, Eric Hjorleifson, Hugo and Rory had pretty good segments. And Sarah really surprised me, she pulled off some pretty good shit.
Before The Hit List they played Starskis & Hucks with Brad Holmes and Seth , so funny.

ya i kinda feel similar to that however i would give it at least a 5/10 because i felt they were close to the warren miller feel which was what they were going for and it reely made me stoked to ski, deff not the absolute best of the season but it was worth the watch for sure

I thought the movie only had a few good segments. there was to much freerideing. No One want's to see that they wan't to see the park and the pipe.

it was pretty good but the whole "got any big trips linned up" thing made me want to jab my own eyes out with a lit 9 inch cuban cigar. There was a little too much big mountain to. It got really boring. too long. too many lines with little cliffs. No seth morrison. One good thing though, very little scarachuting. Overall it was a good movie though. Amazing camera shots. Good skiing. Rory Bushfiled had his best segment to date. The Balzac local is getting big. I really doubt I'll buy it but it was worth seeing for sure. 4 movies that are better are War, TBC, SH6, PYB

Hjorliefson massive 720 off the rock and stomping all sorts of crazy lines, how is that boring? It's better than watching a normal park run.

The big mountain parts are sick, but way too much talking.
I think MSP blessed us with the remix disc.

It was a good film I saw it last night. I have come to realize that big mountain skiing is like a riding a moped not fun to watch but fun to do. The helicopter shots were epic this year.

I got it like last week fuck I forgot to check out the remix version. The original was aight, I gotta kinda sick of all the big mountain stuff though. I knew it was going to be mainly that kinda stuff but thought they might spice it up a lil with the odd urban jib. Also didnt like how it seemed the same trick was constantly being thrown.

I just got it last night, and I have to say it was awesome. Whatever you think about big mt vs. park, you can't argue with two points:
1)It was WAAAAAAAAAAAY longer than any of the other movies that came out this year. Finally, some real substance.
2)The production/film quality is light years ahead of anyone else. And they don't do the stupid PYB's stuff with graphics and colors around the shot. The shot should speak for its self.
MSP is maturing with the industry right now and I'm guessing the only people who have a problem with the film are 15 yo bitches who think they are rebels because they ski park. Suck on this: you aren't a rebel, you aren't creating a new sport, skiing has been around way longer than you and you need to respect the roots and appreciate all parts of it.
Besides you can't argue with a soundtrack filled with Scorpion's tunes. Mahre's part was straight SICK. So was Erick's and even Abma's. The Helo/boat trip in alaska was interesting, but sort of long, but when it comes down to it, the movie is there to let you experience something the average person never will.
All in all, a sick film and the remix is good too. The McMurray rap video is in PYB as well, and it really sucks. Gotta respect them jumping off the bridge though (Silva, McMurray).
