ARV's compared to Pistols

I have skied on 179 Pistols for the past 2 seasons and loved them. I sold them this spring to someone on here. I had a chance to ride Viscious's this spring for a few days and really didn't dig them as much as my Pistols. So basically I want to know how they ARV's ski compared to Pistols. Dimensions are basically the same, but what about overall flex of the ski? Not really concerned how they are in powder as they will float fine, more concerned with how they behave on groomers as this will be my only pair of skis this season.

ARVs feel much lighter to me... but if original pistols are the ski for you you're unlikely to find anything that'll compare. I suggest trying out a pair of Made'ns.

I really dont like the thought of Maden's as an everyday ski. They seemed a little sluggish when I skied them, which is to be expected on a ski of its size, but I can only imagine how much ass they kick in deep stuff.
I'm assuming you've skied ARV's and Pistols? Do ARV's feel any less stable or any more squirley than Pistols?
