I must say I saw the movie and it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. Basically it was like 5 different hits and some rails and there was no pollard, no ashley, no pep, none of the people we really wanted to see. not epic at all.
tanner's segment was like 5. and it was broken up into a segment, a tale about a crash and his season and some shots from chads so, the movie was just amazing, nothing else to say
I expected an epic movie with a bunch of people and since pollard and pep were doing so good I kinda expected them to be in the 'biggest' ski movies of the year.
Haha now that's a weird way of thinking! Athletes don't just "appear" into different films, they shoot with specific companies, and usually if they shoot much with them, they might end up in the movie, so their name would be in the trailer. Pollard and Pep weren't in the trailer, so whatever you are smoking man, give me some.
pollard rides exclusivly for msp.
i remember last years tgr. micha, eric, and a couple others went to russia. The tgr movie was all the footage minus pollard. then i saw msp. Same lines and stuff, even the same street monkey sittin on his shoulder, but clearly seperated from tgr.
Hell Yeah!! becker is the hot shit right now. watch out for this kid. his progression from year to year is crazy. every time shooting with this BB i don't think he tried to land forward. pushing it.
This is a good movie. I have felt the ski movie genre in general lags in style, creativity, and artistic vision. This movie is defiantly a lot more avant-garde/progressive than a lot of stuff being put out there. I have my criticisms(minor), but defiantly a move toward the vision of the sport that I want represented.
