


The frame of the rail is made of 2x4’s and 1x2’s. The sides are made of waferboard. I plan on painting them in the future. The grinding surface is made of ¼ inch thick lexan. The lexan is attached with countersunk screws. The rail has 8 wedges helping it stay upright. It is also anchored to the ground with four 12” galvanized steel spikes. The whole completed thing weighs in at 150 pounds and took 2 people to move from my garage to my backyard. The whole thing cost me about $70 Cnadian to make (keeping in mind that I got the lexan for free from my schools shop lab).
