Moving to "north" vancouver

so the college that i'm applying to says that it's in north vancouver. can anyone who's framiliar with area tell me how far of a distance it is from the nearest ski resort?

uhh...no, whistler's 3 hours away from MY house, and i live an hour and a half away from van...but grouse and seymour and cypress and what not are really close. Public transit to grouse and seymour as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

how long do you think it would take to get to one of those mtn's with public transportation? i don't really wana buy my own car

You don't need a car. Absolute maximum'd be 30 minutes, but I'm kind of just guessing. And it depends on where you are exactly.
