that happens to me all the time... I more just think of creative ways to kill myself though... more than just trying to decide weather or not to do it.... it is more of just a hobby... you know. man I hate this couch.

not necessarily, death doesn't have to be a negative experience. actually, i wholly hope it isn't. i hold out all hopes that death is nothing but a positive, and continually progressive experience.

if your gonna kill yourself do it with style. I think the biggest cliff drop is 156 ft so go for something bigger because if you life you wont be depressed because of your new record and if you die it would be the coolest way ever.

Highest cliff drop is Paul Ahern, 226 feet, I believe, only broke his sternum. Yea but if you dropped a huge ass cliff but ended up dieing, you probably wouldn't die instantly, and experience some internal bleeding and a lot of broken bones, almost makes that flaming rope idea sound interesting... actually no it doesn't.

i am happy to report that i have saved myself from certian deth at the cold hands of ultimate boardeom. when i went home on my lunch break, i call into work saying that i had discovered a homework assignment of unparalleled proportions that must be completed by tomorrow, or else i would surely die.. this is somewht true, and i got to leave work. so now i can sit on NS without the co-workers looking over my shoulder... heh.

I always hear suicide is for cowards... but cmon, it takes some balls to kill yourself. Even though this thread isn't serious. Killing yourself means accepting whatever happens after you die, and noone really knows, and not everyone is firm in their own beliefs what happens afterwards. But people who kill themselves have resolved that issue in their mind and are willing to take the chance for what's next. Personally I don't believe anything happens after you die, but I'd still find it really hard to kill myself. I think this says that there is inherently something good about just being alive. This goes w/ the utilitarian viewpoint to minimize suffering, if you could kill everyone in the world instantly and painlessly, then this would minimize the most suffering, but this isn't done because it seems as if there is something inherently good about being alive. Anyway... whatever.
