ahh i am going nuts my throat is burning and i am burningdoes nayone got any good ideas on how to get rid of a cold/fever faster i tryed all this herbal shit cause my family is hippies but its not working....HELPP!

Alright. I'll share my remedies, no guarantees but it helps me amazingly.
First. Consume as much Vitamin C as possible. I usually sit down with a bottle of orange juice and drink that for a while.
Second. Make a batch of green tea. When tea is steeping, add in a cough drop (try for menthol) and let it begin to dissolve in the hot water and tea. Drink. Repeat.
Third. Take a fairly large spoonful of honey mixed with a few drops of lemon.
Fourth. Relax.
Fifth. Feel better.

Sleep and for vitiaman C, go buy vitiman water (look on the back) and most have 250% daily recomended amount of vitiman C. Vicks cough/cold syrup works well, but mainly get mad sleep

its actually been proven that chicken noodle soup helps speed up recovery. what they did is inject 2 groups of people with the same cold virus. they gave 1 group chicken noodle soup and the other group got nothing. the chicken group recoverd faster.

go get lots of allergy drugs and shit and tylonal and take them every 4 hours and get musinex or something like that it works amazing cuz im sick as fuck right now too

dont forget to add tylenol cold nighttime with cold burst, knocks you out pretty good, whenever i take it i nevvvver wake up during the night, yeah i have to take a mad pis in the morning but i do that in the morning anyway.

I only get colds for 4 days, usually because of my remidy.
Take 2 tablets of Vitamin C in the morning then at night.
Take Advil Cold, like alot.
Get alot of sleep.
O.J. or Neocitrim also help.
Honestly colds don't last long for me, I've had 2 in the last 3 weeks.

this doesnt help now but if you start getting sick again, just ignore the fact that your getting a cold and keep going, the second you lie down you get sick

zinc. take tablets before u go to bed and u usually feel great in the AM, and there is these pills Zicam, just zinc losenges, for durin the day, that always helped shorten mine

you know if you take enough IBUprofin (Motrin) and Pseudoephedrine (sudafed) then you wont feel sick anymore. 2 years ago i had the flu really bad and it was openning weekend at mtbaker so i just took a bunch of both and i felt plenty good enough to ski.
and dont overdo the ephedrine, cause thats basically amphetamines
