Replying to Spin direction??

Ok i didnt know where to post this, so i figured i'd post it in general. I have been skiing since i was 4, but only last year i started skiing park and such, and so in one year i was able to do most basic rail stuff, and up to a mute 3, but during the last ski season, i was havingtrouble picking a spin direciton. for the 180's i would spin one way, and for 360's i would spin another way. I figured that i should be spinning the same way but when i try to change either, it feels really akward, especially on the windup. This year im going to go for big spins with more rotation but i think that i really need to decide which way to spin before i do it. Is it normal to have different directions for a 1 or 3. Can people tell me how they spin? I dont know if this matters, lol, but ill post some stuff that may have to do with spin direction:
I right handed
I Skateboard and surf goofy (right food forward)its easier for me to spin counter clockwise on a skateboard

I Do rails on skis with right foot forward
