a VERY reliable source. I'm not 100% sure if they changed the actual pole construction but i know for sure they have a new graphic. I am pretty sure contruction is the same aswell.
how do they support the ski industry? their logo is off the sidebar on NS, so i guess they arent sponsoring this site anymore? i just dont see the point in paying way too much for an ugly pole because it "supports the ski industry." buying armada or line or 4frnt is different, because they do give back to the ski industry in many ways, but what is joystick doing, really?
alot more than kids who come on NS and bitch about people who put alot of time/effort into their work. Joystick is a company that makes sick poles that really aren't expensive at all for what you get. I paid alot more for rossi poles that are the same material and come from italy as well but they didn't have dope graphics on them. and if you don't like the graphic or the pole then don't buy it..simple as that. I'd be pissed if i were the people working hard at joystick trying to do something for the industry and got bashed by people like you who are to cheap to support the industry. go buy your composite race poles, just don't bitch about other products for such a reason as yours.
Joystick is doing exactly what every other wannabe little tuque/tshirt company, along with most ski/boot/binding companies, SHOULD be doing: Building a brand from the ground up with solid, dependable, and fucking sick product.
My Joystick poles went through shit while I had them, then were "stolen"/borrowed by someone who put them through 200 times the hell I could have put them through, whether it be in the air, in the backcountry, on big lines, whatever. They held up and didn't break or bend, and STILL look good.
Basically, Joystick owns skiing, whether you even realize it or not.
ya pretty sure that its the same pole with new graphics but thats nothing to complain about seeing how thats basicly what most ski company do for there skis. and they do support the ski industry because they sponcer a bunch of riders n shat.
that is just plain silly...
I think joystick is expensive.
I'm sorry, I'm all about "core" and supporting the industry, but I'm not made out of money, I'm one of those people that has to have a job and make my own money so I can ski, and it seems to me like paying that much money for something that people commonly get for free, or like $20, is just dumb.
