hey Im doing the same thing with some old school poles I got for $4....they have leather straps and huge baskets on them too!

last spring i paitned mine. i wrapped tape around in a big spiral like a barbershop pole and its black/white spiral the whole way down with yellow tips and random stuff everywhere
