Speaking from a person with a mother as a horse trainer and a father a horse vet Id have to say that I cant think of a bigger waste of money than horses. Theyre stupid, disobedient, smelly, horribly expensive, injury prone, retarded animals. Horse jumping is fucking great. Whoever has access to the better horse and is willing to shell out the most money wins. Fucking great! But all those girls with pony fantasies payed for everying for the first 18 years of my life so its really all good~
riding horses is fun..... until you get your balls smashed in the saddle. OUCH.
i live in horse country, and the money that goes into those animals is redonkulas. seriously, the estates of horse people are staggering. (atleast the horse people around me)
You're a guy. Unless you are gay you will never be into horses. No offense. I do agree that no one should ever buy a horse. Horses are the definition of Murphy's Law. Horses are a pain in the ass.
Yeah, whoever has more money than God wins everything in the show ring. It's very true. All the judges are those rich people, and all those rich people know each other very well. It sucks for the small town people with awesome horses, but they can't get anywhere because they aren't in the loop.
My mom and dad bought my mare when I was five. Lucky for me and my oblivious mind I won everything. The judges liked me for some reason. I was just super cute on a white horse I guess. I've been privileged enough to have all these horses on my farm that I can train and ride for myself. I got tired of it so now I ski, and whenever I miss my horses I just go over to Keystone Stables and play with the drafts.
Though after i'm all growed up I do plan to own a couple horses, and get back into the horse industry. Those people know how to party.
