Yeah, the battery does kinda suck for videos. I bet that there will be a lot of other problems with it too, since its the first generation of video ipods.
Yeah I guess its cool, except for the fact that you'll only be able to put video on it thats in Apple's proprietary format. I'll wait for another company to put one out, one that gives the user a choice.
they have the cingular thing thats like part mp3 and mostly phone. It holds like 100 songs or something. But I think the Video Ipod was released way to early. Theres only like 2 hours battery life for playing videos and everyone knows how infamous ipods are for their batteries to drain in like a year down to nothing
10 bucks says that within a month, they are gonna come out with a "new" iPod. its gonna be .01 inches thinner, have a half hour more battery life, and be shit gree, just because apple can do that.. and every american is going to have to get rid of their "outdated" iPod, and go spend another 300 or 400 on the new one.. Apple has a genious marketing strategy.. only in america, only in america
you can export any video from quicktime now. they released an update last night. just open any movie in quicktime - hten go file-export- and use the setting "movie to ipod".
So what? What does it matter? YOu can just throw it in your bag and if it runs our your golden, this kid made like 15 of them and everyone worked for like 4 hours
