I know that theres probably a bunch of threads about this but the searchbar doesn't work. I ski mostly park but like to ski powder when we get it on the east coast and trees. I ski some pipe but not that much. I'm like 5 11 135 but I'm gonna have these for a while. Also look p10s or rossi power 120s for bindings
Isnt tru center the exact center of the ski? Bceause if so why would anyone mount there, if the ski isnt symmetrical. And core center is the thinnest point on the ski correct. That would be smarter then true on an unsymmetrical ski.
yes, don't take my word for it but I think core center is dead center, measured from top to bottom and the ski, while true center is what the factory has marked as "center" on the ski. It's either that or the other way around.
I weigh 140 5'11 and mine are mounted back a few cm from true. I ski 50/50 park/all mtn. and I find that carving is harder still. I wouldnt do true center if u want to be able to carve groomed, have more movment in powder or crud. But if you ski park mostly and never touch a downhill groomed course or enjoy that kind of stuff i would go true center then, but if you can afford two skis.... if i get new skis this year (volkl karmas) im going to go a little bit back from true center because i like to be able to ski park and carve a lot all over..
I know this is an old post but I am about to mount my Ar5s 176 and I was wondering how everything turned out for all of you. I am thinkin core center I ski about 60% park and 40% mountain. Think that is good for me?
