My past couple rides have been stopped when the snow got too deep, so rain doesn't seem too bad to ride in right now.

If this rain trend is an indicator of the snowfall for the winter, holy fuck. 12 inches of rain = more than 12 feet of snow. Even 6 feet of snow at once in the northeast would make my lifetime.

Go riding in the rain anyways, seriously man. We had pratice cancelled because of serious rain and went anyways, probobly the best times ever are to be had in the rain while biking.

You just have to find the trails that either aren't steep, or have a lot of rocks or gravel on them. I hit a muddy section of trail today on a steep climb and felt my tire do 3 or 4 spins on the way up the hill. It made me feel like hot shit, but if I had tipped over it would've been quite the mess!

For sure. I ride the Needham town forest trails mostly because there is an entrance about 300 yards from my house. The terrain is actually pretty good. It's not 100% good hills and what not, but it's a fun ride. Needham also has sick lawns. There are some subdivisians that have ridiculous features if you don't mind getting yelled at occasionaly. So there is fun stuff in Needham, it's not completely awesome or anything, but there is some good stuff.
The next down over, Dover, has super nice, long trails also.
All times are Eastern (-5)
