About time someone praised Line for its innovation

Recently it seems that Line has been losing popularity with some of the people on this site, I just can't see why. I just read this great comment from Papa on one of the Line Website threads:
"if line didn't invest in that shitty binding, they'd be much better off"
I don't give a crap if you think the Line binding is the shitiest thing ever made, but this comment just makes me so angry! How can you expect innovations to be made if no one is going to take the risk to make them...no one can tell how anything is going to turn out until its out on the market and by then it's too late to turn around and so oops, maybe we shouldn't have done that.
Maybe you don't agree but as far as I am aware Jay Levinthal is the ONLY ski company boss with enough balls to take the huge risks he does in investing in the design and creation of new technologies and revolutionary ski designs. Line is the only ski manufacturer that has been constantly pushing the barriers that have been holding our sport back for the last 40 years.
It's about time people started praising Jay Lev and Line for taking the unbelievable risks they do and for pushing this sport further than any other company. It shouldn't even matter if you don't like the new Line binding; you don't have to buy it... but even so you should give respect that Line is the only company to even try something like that. We've been using the same shitty style of binding for 30 years now.
Companies like Salomon/Rossignol have the money to make the changes but they just care about the money, as long as people keep buying their shitty bindings then they will never make any changes.
So thank you Line and thank you Jay Lev. Without your innovation and risk taking this sport would barely be any less shitty than it was 11 years ago.

I do agree that what Line has done has definetely affected the industry in nothing but a positive way. I think what Line stands for is great, and that the company should still be supported.
However, after riding a pair of Line Mike Nick pros for a season, I am hardly satisfied with the product they produce. Not only did the ski delaminate almost instantly, but the edge almost seemed to get "pinched" off the ski.
Note: these are my experiences with Line skis.

Line is the innovator, don't be fooled, like the design for the elizabeth and the invader, it will be copied soon don't worry.
