probably not the part where he said 18 foot walls. 22 foot walls doesn't work good though, mammoth had that super duper pipe and it went down the toilet.

mammoth had the super-duper pipe last year and it was way better than the regular super-pipe.

Too bad it will be 700 feet of unrideable pipe. Boyne seriosuly sucks ass at making/maintaining their park.

yeah i have heard that, its too bad, cause i am sure they are dropping a ton of cash for that pipe, and its a shame to see it go down the tubes.

Boyne has brought in new blood to head up the terrain park management and he's promising things will get better... hopefully he's right. time will tell, though.

Wagner, who is in charge of Boyne Highlands park(at least i know he used to be), actually does know how to cut a pipe, he's just never had the resources to make a good one. Hopefully he's still with boyne, and they have him cut it often, it could be a good thing for Michigan.

they've had a dragon for the past couple years that they shared between highlands and mountain. the pipe was still cut about 3-4 times the entire season...hope the the best tho...

18 foot walls!
Sorry, but plenty of pipes out west have walls higher than 18 feet.
Still stoked for you though, that's a great thing if you live out there.

yeah fuck that, the west has tons of superpipes all way better than boyne's could ever dream of being... anyways the only thing i can think of that the midwest has and the west doesn't, would be the 80 foot s-rail at Cascade. nothin too special though, the west is wayyy better

But its still the longest.. So I'm happy, and it will be way less busy than ANY pipe outwest. Mid week at boyne theres only like 30 people there, all geezers which means SUPER PIPE TO MYSELF.

i don't think boyne has 700 feet. i mean i know the place well and i don't see anywhere that they have 700 feet unless they are making it all the way down the lift on the flat.

unless they have some crazy huge ditch dug, sounds like it might be a waste of snowmaking that could have been used for jumps

Wagner's still there, but he's got a new boss who's making shit happen so Jason can get the resources he needs to make some good stuff happen there. they need to make a good park this season, because the only good park in the midwest is in Marquette in the UP and most kids downstate can't make a 6+ hour drive to Marquette Mountain very often. oh, and Marquette doesn't have a pipe. the pipe at Nub's was fun to ride, but icy as hell by the afternoon and a bit too steep, and the rest of their park was a fucking joke. best of luck to Wagner and crew.
