How do you find split tailed skis? The biggest ski i have ewer skied is my maden ak (108) how about the Volkel sanouk, the Salomon xxx or this prophet-thing witch i have newer seen.( is it ewen split-tailed??)I find my Kneissel tanker(95) more stabile than the maden in allmost all conditions. How do you like your super wide skis? (in high speeds) Maybe skis dont have to be THAT big.

or just get older gear. Nothing wrong with the old seth pistols or motherships. Both dope skis, and you should find each for under $300. granted, they will be used, but if money is an issue than it is worth it.

Money is not an issue...I have alot of disposable income...plus I got the clothing and shit for dirt cheap...it is just crazy to think about how much it cost to ski

What is the capital g-funkstien? And just a little background on why I am even getting this ski...I am currently in Grad school in the east, but will be out west 2 or 3 times, plus in VT 2 or 3 times and I am taking a job in Denver in the late spring after I graduate

Yeah, that is why I added that some people love them.
From most reviews I've heard they are just too ackward to be skied comfortably. hard to get on edge, not great at speed, etc, etc.
Some review, though, have been good. So, if someone is interested in that ski I'm all for it. Some people love them and that is great. From the experiences of people I trust, though, most didn't like them. It could just be different ski styles, condition, etc. I'd like to try them at some point to see what they are actually like. Maybe I'll like them as much as some people do.
