does adobe premere work for a mini dv camera (I'm assuming this is all the same) and if so how easy would it be to make a simple vid maybe editing out falls and editing in music

Premiere does work well with a mini dv camera. It can get alittle bit confusing to use, but to make a simple vid it works out great.

Ive got Pinnacle Studio7 and it seems to work great, you can burn dvd's with the full version........which is nice.

Adobe Premier 6.0,

There may actually be a 6.5 but I've been working with 6.0 for about a year now and it has been great. It was difficult to use at first but it just takes time. The program runs anywhere from 600.00 to 900.00 dollars. Now the legal thing to do would be to buy the program. The smart thing to do would be to download it.

i'll agree with the others. Premiere. the only way to go. but make sure you read the manual or go through the tutorials. helps alot.

i agree Adobe Premier 6.0, its really not that bad, but some of the basic stuff (titles) have to be redone and what not.
