anyone have a dakine heli-pro they are selling i want black or maybe the blue and gray one. or anyone suggest another backpack that can hold my skis, boots and helmet on the outside and my cam and such inside?
If you have fats, you will need to cross them, but if you have smaller skis, then you can mount them on the back or the side of the pack. But this will give you a big tilt to one side tough. Yeah, they sponsor me, but it is REALLY a god pack.
I have the north face off chute pack, it's awesome, the ski carry system is awesome, you can go diagonal or crossed. Crossed is where it's at if you've got room.
The Vertex is smaller than the Heli Pro, but it's a good day pack. I use it on days at Whistler where I'm yoyo-ing in and out of bounds, with a lot of lifts and a little hiking. It's good for an extra pair of gloves, a fleece, a shovel, some food and water, and the other BC essentials. It also features that Dakine cross carry system for your skis, so your shit is easy to hike with.
the cross for the heli pro on mine is u take the back softshell back thing off that says "x-carry" on it put them in there then strap them in with the hidden straps
