so i know some of you fellow skiers must have some special tricks for getting your regular nintendo functioning when it's being sucky. help me ouuut i need super mario bros 3 now!

besides blowing on the cartidge and the system? try holding it upside down and shaking vigorously. i've been rocking that shit for a few days, it's amazing.

blow harder than you did on-eh i'll stop there, try hitting the top with your hand, then pushing the thing in harder than normal haha.

after blowing on it and pushing it down. wiggle the cartridge side to side. its always worked for me

try the old cough on the cartridge trick. it seems to work better than the blow technique. also check all your connections.

Get a new 72 pin connector off of ebay. open the system unscrew the old one, screw in the new one, and you should be set. That is if nothing else is wrong but 9/10 times thats what it is.

sometimes on mine if you push the cartridge in too far, it wont work, so make sure it is in the right farness.

If it is the screen pic going bad, or flahing, the pin connector fixes every thing, but in her case it may just be dead.

you can clean it with q tips and peroxide if you think it is dirty... other wise give her the old blow and smack program.

when mine wont work ill just push it in to the point where it is barely able to go down. pushin it in too far makes it not work sometimes

are you getting the constant flashing like it's resetting??
push the cartridge in just enough so it barely clears 'the drop' then be gentle and push it down - if you do it right, you'll feel it push in - then you have the right fit.
-when you push it down, if it goes down and rebounds too high, you may need like a book or something to keep it from coming up too high.

blow in the game, blow in the machine, set the game in the slot(not fully in), hold the reset button, slam the game in, let go of the reset button. Works every time

First do the thing were you stick out your tongue and blow putting a LITTLE bit of moisture in there...then blow...then when you stick it in and it is setting down in...push on the corner of the cartridge a little...try both sides...while you ar turning it on/hitting reset

don't blow in games with saved information. it usually erases the info. for some reason, same with n64 games.
