I never said I was a pro, let alone a real one, I just think that all mountain hucking is more fun and powder is better suited to learn in, I did'nt mean the perfected BC booter, I meant natural terrain and spontaenious hucking, good job pros for what they do but I like my opinion and i'm sticking to it.
yea i got out of the park sometimes for a day, and i get in front of people who may have pissed me off earlier in the day wiggle my feet while going down the hill and i let those rooster tails do the rest baby, huge ice chunks in thier faces
what kinda question is that? Of course, I'm always outside the park. I love taking at least 6 runs a day outside the park, ski backwards, hit little bumps, find random shit to jib off of, off trail, the fun shit, its not all about park dude, have fun, be creative.
uh...yeah, of course. usually though, i go to the park when everything's skied out near the end of the day...i can't stand skiing park all day, it's so mundane, no matter how hard you try to mix it up by doing new stuff, you can't ski manmade-features all day- that's not what skiing is to me.
all the pros talk about learning shit in the park then taking it to the backcountry so obviously i think a lot of these kids are lying about how much they love to learn on BC booters, cuz well it doesnt feelt easier to me, pow landings are fucking tough if you ask me.
groomers can be super fun its like freestylin the mountain without premade jumps rails to hit just cruise around butterin jumpin off/ over shit goin super fast switch, spinnin off random lumps and cornices and slow down signs good times to be had
only twice in Alta and both were pow days. if there is not fresh then all-mountain isnt worth it. otherwise i just lap the park and maybe hit some bumps or drops on the way
tanaka, dont you love those kiddos who think their hardcore park rats cus they stay in the park allllll the time. even on big dump days. when i ski by em to get to the tram, makes me want to knock some sense into em.
hell no i gotta hit the park at least once, i love the park, except not last year cause hood was a biiiiiiiitch but this year is gonna be savage as FUCK
just shred pow nar and enjoy life and take a deep breath..and realize that you...live on the east coast and to have a powder day it is like a genie with 3 wishes, the 3 wishes being the 3 major dumps we get, and they aren't that major
Since I live in the east I will gladly take whatever snow I can take
Haha YES! Remember that skateboarding ad? That was the most epic commercial ever, with that black kid being like, a day without my corn pops, is like a day without my skateboard, and it showed him sliding like a 5 foot rail...it was the best thing ever.
