your a retard, Lib Tech makes the best boards in the market, they sponsor the best people on snow period, and the magna tractions been out for years now. They would be sick skiis and a good addition to our options to choose from because they are technologically driven and our skiis are like the same everyyear.

Can anyone give me an explanation as to how it works in a logical sense?

in theory its really simple. snowboards only have 4 contact points, two on each side. so their increasing the contact points to 7 by using a wavy edge. the question is if its lives up to theory in reality. and it doesnt sound necessary on skies cuz skis always have two edges touching the snow, not just one. but i dont know really know about that

lib tech has a really solid product...theyre skis will be just as solid. The magna traction has not been out for years, this will be its second year on the market. I know everyone says the magnatraction board rides awesome..

Tired of your stale old plank washing out on each icy turn and catching edges when you straight line? The super-light Lib Tech Magnetraction Snowboard turns ice into powder with its innovative new edge design. Scalloped edges make bulletproof pipes just another walk in the park. The principle is simple. Traditional snowboard design gives you two primary edge contact points, one at the tip and one at the tail, which are more likely to wash out on ice and catch when you're setting up for the hit. The Magnetraction design, which looks uncannily like a crinkle-cut French fry, has seven contact points, giving you much more stability through icy trannies. This thing rides more like a skateboard—where the control and initiation come from directly under your feet—and tracks like a snowcat. The H-Pop Wood Alloy Core and Power Transer Internal Sidewalls make this snowboard light, responsive, and give it mad pop with very low spin weight. The Magnetraction is stiff enough to handle stronger riders but still performs flawlessly for freestyle trickery.
Bottom Line: This freestyle board eats up icy trannies and floats biiiiiiiig spins.
thats sic' man!
