Reasearch it man... Getting someone from a random web site to comment will decrease the quality of your project.

The quality of public schools varies greatly by state. and even within states, quality varies by school district. The reason for this is that schools are funded by property taxes, so obviosly areas with more valuble property and/or higher property taxes are going to have more funds to work with. on top of that, some areas are just more commited to education. New England states are consistantly ranked as providing the best education, with Massachusettes, Connecticut, and Vermont usually taking the top 3 spots. The Southwest (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico) pretty much have abysmal education systems. The Southeast isn't doing so hot either. The reason I bring all this regionalism up, is because it's really hard to generalize the education system in the United States because it can be extremely different depending on where you grew up.

well in my school in good old Saratoga, NY (which is home of the Saratoga Blue Streaks)school starts at 7:49 and we have 4 blocks.A block if 80 minutes instead of the regular 40 min. of a period. So we have 4 blocks a day I have a split 3rd block for lunch which means I have 3rd block for 40 min. then i goto luch for 40 min. then i go back to my third block class.During lunch you can goto the library which is pretty cool,so I goto the library and go onto NS on the comps. Then school ends at 2:30 and I have a 20 min buss ride until I get to my house. All in all i'd say I like my school.

i got to school in demarest new jersesy. it's ranked number 4 in the state. the valedictorian last year graduated with a 5.0 GPA and went to dartmouth. we have a lot of smart kids here. a B is considered average. most kids get A's. a good GPA is not lower than a 3.6. everything is very competitive. they're are also a lot of cracked out kids.
