Snow all over the Colorado tonight! Wasn't going to make a post, but I just got new info- More than a foot in some areas of Denver and the frontrange, 2 feet in the foothills, more than 30 inches above 8,000 feet! Loveland pass could get in excess of 4 feet overnight. I think I might go ski Loveland Pass in the morning and skip Philosophy in Society.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but the national weather service isn't calling for 4 feet at Loveland Pass. Tops from this storm will be around 3 feet, don't get my wrong...that's a lot still.

Snow is expected to continue falling today. Below are the on-mountain, 24-hour snow totals, along with resort opening dates. It looks like it's going to be a BIG snow year so plan your trip today!
Breckenridge: 30 inches, Opening on November 11, 2005
Keystone: 17 inches, Opening on November 11, 2005
Vail: 13 inches, Opening on November 18, 2005

So recap of todays events- there was a ton of snow along I-70 to the point where the highway is still closed down. Last I heard, Breck is without power. We got rain in the part of Boulder where I live, but 2 miles down the road (I took Baseline up Flagstaff) there was at least 10 inches. I almost got my Xterra stuck in a snow drift up top. 30 inches of snow at Breck is amazing. Oh and uh...I didn't get to go to Loveland pass because of I-70 being closed down. Well, Loveland is opening this weekend. I won't be here for it though, I'm going to be climbing in Moab. Fall Break bitches.
