ive demoed quite a few of this years quiksilver jackets, and ive already bought the long duk dong (called the argyle here in europe), and its freakin' awesome. superlightweight, dope fit. you might wanna check this one out. also i loved the plaza jacket (dunno us modelname), wich is a more tecnical jacket w/ improved waterproofing material. pretty sick. also love the colors on this one. other than those two, i have no other favourites.

also, se if you can find your mentioned slash jacket there, cause most likely it has another name in europe, and i might be able to tell you my opinion if ive tried it on.

i despise quick silver they are the definition of a core company selling out to media and marketing i hope siver orage dna and any other core skiing company never follows quicksilver in that way

...quiksilver is amazing. look at all their gear, all their stuff is sweet and functional. and they were a mainstream brand before they even entered skiing. just because a brand is sucessful doesnt make them bad.

how come everytime a small brand makes it big they become a sell out? mark my words, in 5 years, armada and 4frnt will be trashtalked worse that salomon ever has been. we've seen line get some of it, just wait for it.

and relating to the thread, one of the websites they have, 5star or something, sells some winter gear. the long duk dong jacket is sexy too.
