you can see the base, the topsheet is clear, as in see through, like cyran rap.

i say mount em at the suggested mount, thats what i did. It good to do that because the flex pattern is designed for that mount

what can't you understand about it being clear? it is clear....wow.....thats it....its clear....whats hard to understand about that? what i don't understand is why arn't the carbon stringers tensiled? they are juts kinda...liek loose and stuff...how the hell is that gonan help the ski? may as well juts have epoxy in there and no carbon fibre...

i mean, when i think of solid, stable material, i think of a solid color, something you cant see through.

how do they get them to be clear and still durable?

i dont know, i just dont get the chemical compounds they use to make clear stuff like that. i am used to seeing it a solid color.

like, you can dye stuff to make it different color, but there is no dye that makes stuff clear.

i just need someone to explain it to me.

yeah i love the new ones i got them center mounted but K2 measures their skis differently so when you tell the ski shop you wanted them center mounted theyre not going to be in the exact center

the topsheet is naturally see throuhg in all skis ( or most), and they print the graphics on the underside of the topsheet, thats why the graphics rarely scratch off.

i like how u can see where the edges go inside the ski if you look at the bases, looks cool, anyways ya its def clear and ya im gettin a pair cause they will cost me nothin through pro form

yea +6 is good I might go with +7 on the K2'sm though. If I had the money I would get them as a seconed pair, but I cant afford it.

go core centre. thats where pep designed em to b skied. I have the new 1s and have been skiing them for a few months in our season and there the sickest park ski i've ever ridden.The graphic is so dope
