Iv narrowed my selection down to the Volkl karmas, K2 pes, and the Rossi Scratch fs. I live in the midwest, and im about 5'5''ish and about 125lbs. I ski about 50% park and 50% groomers and stuff.
well, the pe's and scratches are pretty similar in width. i would still go with the scratches. you may even want to check out the bc's. i know it seems kinda wide, but it will be more stable and alot of people like it more. that depends on how much you go ot west though.
all of those skis are fine. and don't worry about some people talking down on volkl's, i've had a few friends ride them and they are fine.
just because they aren't named armada and 4frnt some people assume that they are crap, but they are solid skis.
the scratch bc might be a bit too wide, this year's are 98 underfoot. every other ski you named is great though, i'd say just go with whichever you can get a better deal on.
ill prolly go out west like once a year so i dont need really wide skis, and some of my friends have volkls and they liked them and they took a lot of abuse. so if i can get a good deal on the karmas toward the end of the season ill prolly get those with some look or rossi bindings
