I know this has been posted a million times but the search thing inst working, but is there a big difference between the two? Are the Thalls still an all everything like the AR5s
well the t-hall is like the ultimate jib ski and crap everywhere else so if youre a hardcore park rat get the t-halls if you like to mix it up get the ar5 but it doesnt mean the ar5 cant kick some ass in the park
i guess they could but theyre going to suck it up hardcore just get the ar5 and deal with the graphics what is the world coming to when you get a ski based on how it looks
the t-halls will be fine outside the park, just becasue they have rounded edges doesn't mean they will suck outside of the park. Unless you do not do any rails than you already ski with rounded edges
i do some rails, park, moguls, basic stuff will the thalls be fine? or are they like line stuff wheres its all halfpipe and park?, which i dont do all the time.
You will suffer a lot in the moguls with factory detuned edges on the T Halls. I think those skis are for just park skiing, so if you do rails a ton and are used to skiing round edges, go for whichever you like. I don't think I'd even bother tuning the edges on the T Halls.
alright, i want something thats like all around. i probably do 50 % park 20 % moguls 30 % all mt. i want the thalls so bad, but i just wanna find some info on them. mad steezalicious
they use the same mould for both skis so the sidecut is the same ect... The only real difference is the flex. T-Halls is really soft and fun. I found them to be really good out of park too.
ultimately, u need 2 decide wuts more important 2 u...performance or graphics. both skis r very similar, but 4 wut ur wanting 2 ski, the AR5 is the ski i would recommend.
haha how the hell is that ignorant? Please think about what I'm saying and what he's asking. The T-Halls are not the prophets or some crazy baccountry ski. A lot of people use twins in the moguls and they do quite well. If you know how to ski other than just park than you should be able to not only ski the t-halls in the moguls but have some fun.
The T-Halls are softer than any Line Ski bro and no you won't be fine skiing them allmountain that is why they have the AR5. There are also other Sk Brands that make skis you can ski in and out of the park. If you must have an Armada and don't want AR5s consider the ARV, otherwise buy another brand I suppose. ARVs kill it in and out of the park though.
yo but for the 05/06 season they stiffened the ski under the boot, so the ski has more stability then it used tohave, so u will be fine on groomers. T halls still have the flex points too which are ideal for butters and nosepresses.
it sounds like you just want to get the t-halls just to have t-halls. for what you want to do the ar5's are clearly the better option. the main reason is that the t-halls flex pattern isn't really meant for all mountain. do what you want, but it sounds like you just want to get them because of the name.
