If you're the girl in your profile picture, The Dave would be OK with letting you crash in his room.
Just, you know, it's more or less free, you just kinda, uh, work it off..."sweat equity", I guess you could call it.

wow, I feel like a dick after having checked out your website.
Cheap lift tickets at the 7 11 in Squamish, but NOT the one on the northbound Sea-To-Sky hwy, only southbound.
Cheap food at Nestors' Market, cheap beer at the liquor store, not cold beer/wine, better coffee at Second Cup then at Starbucks(I guess that's only opinion, but fuck it I know I'm right, there are better independents, check them all out), and if you get drunk at Garfinkels, don't get TOO drunk or they cut you off, and that sucks.
Other than that, get someone with a season pass to buy your food for you when you're at rendezvous or the roundhouse and you'll save some cash by using their discount.

thanks for the info... and yes i am the girl in the photo. so does this mean that i earned a little respect when you realized i was a human being (not a porn star) ... ? that works for me. my big plan is actually to move to somewhere snowy and design ski stuff.
oh, and starbucks coffee tastes like burnt ass. and it costs a million dollars.
any more local tips for saving cash would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the diversion, gentlemen.
So the shoesting actually seems pricey for what it is... I'm going to try to get a room at the fireside. No hot tub, though! Do you guys sneak into the hotels in town and use theirs? (I do this kind of thing all the time)

hot tub poaching is a legitamate sport in whistler. Hotels are not the way to go, but rather the timeshares that never get used...the hot tubs are ALWAYS hot.
I have a spare room i tend to rent out if someone needs a room. its small but its in a big house and cheap...even by the week.

There's a great hot tub just behind sushi village-ish in that little hotel/condo area. Unlocked entrance, and you can't get caught because that entrance doubles as a restaurant entrance. And if I remember correctly, they have a pool too. I'll try and find the name of the place, but McKeeman should know.

what do you people think of the UBC whistler lodge? they have a hot tub and a pool table... two very important things!

alright, alright! clearly you feel very strongly about this. the fireside won't let me book a room until february, and i don't want to wait until then to get a place to stay... but maybe i'll do a switch over in feb. do you have any sway over there?

^Don't listen to this guy, he's rich and has a garbage can for a mouth.
Although he is right about the UBC lodge, it's a step above The Shoestring, but still fairly sketchy. It's unfortunate that the Fireside is cock blocking you.

We've established that she's not that kind of girl though.
It's a good idea, but one that's always failed for me with girls. I think it's cuz I always get so drunk that only aussies and ugly tourists from Seattle will talk to me.
Tequila shots are NOT your friend.

theres nothing wrong with aussie girls. you get the whole package. Tanned, accent, stereotypically hot, and ready to go on your command.
haha...
I don't know if i should have said that but it seams so damn true.
