i deleted my whole limewire music collection on accident, can i restore it? or is it gone, did i totally delete it or is it still somewhere on my pc I NEED HELP!!!! i had like 800 songs!

do find that you get a lot of viruses from limewire...casue i just got a laptop and was considering downloading music off there but i didnt want to mess up my comp

yeah limewire has a ton of viruses, not just from porn, but if you leave your comp connected to it, viruses can get on your computer from uploads, just get ares, www.aresgalaxy.com , its all free

^yeah ares isnt bad yet tho, limewire is really bad since everyone is using it, and i think ares is still free, you just need to give them your e-mail to download it, if they are making you pay money for it now thats pretty dick.

Okay, step by step instructions:
A - open limewire
B - type in the name of the song that you deleted into the search field.
C - press enter to search for the file
D - double click file that has lots of people sharing it
E - go back to A for other files that you deleted until finished.

note: the above should have been read in a sarcastic tone.

You might be able to get it back with a system restore.. but i doubt it.
Other than buying data-recovery software - which probably won't work that well because you're obviously still using your computer a lot and that stuff costs $$$, i wouldn't worry about it and just live with it. - start collecting again.

yeah you can definately get it back. look for some programs, disk recovery or something, i've done it before, i recovered 2 gb of files that were deleted from my hard drive a week afterwards... i got lucky mind you, just don't download anything at the moment except for a program taht will let you scan your harddrive and restore files.
