The price tag is rediculas(so is my spellin) something like 8-grand!!! There is no way i could afford it and I was about to order the new sony hd. much cheaper. but i want to find out about Canon.
does anyone here know anything about it (besides the obvious stuff on the net).

also what are your thoughts on the new sony hdr-hc1 and the larger and more expensive hdr-fx1.
or should i pay my rent on time

HDR-HC1 really sucks in low light conditions, you aren't going to get very usable footage. In the daytime the picture quality is amazing, but if you do lots of urban I would stick with an FX1 for the extra $1000.

i would wait untill there are like more than 5 hd cameras on the market for less than 10 grand, then the prices will drop and you will be happier.

I cannot wait any longer. I can no longer use the small canon i have and need to upgrade to a 3ccd camera at the least. *********is hd worth it.*****
