I'll be interested to see how the mange-traction works on skis. A serrated edge seems weird, but it clearly has proven itself on their boards.

I'd like to try a pair.

now i don't want to seem shallow...but they're ugly. looks like an elan-esque topsheet.

as far as their technology...we can only hope they bring something new and innovative to the table.

^ no the mange-tracvtion is like the curvy edges which gets more traction on like ice. They say its like cleats for grass.

didnt they say on their site that ski-inspired sidecut works well on skis and OK on snowboards? but the magne traction thing is designed for a snowboard stance? how are skiers going to pressure the edge correctly? we can only put pressure on the edge by tipping the ski to either side, whereas a snowboarder can actually flew the board under his own control to better utilize the edge, which i think is how the magne traction works... i'm curious. and yeah, they are ugly.

the magn traction is fucken dope snowboarding. i want to try it on skis. lib tech is a good snowboard company, hopefully their skis will be good too.

My friend knows the people at lib tech and they asked him if he wanted to get some of the 2007 demo skis from them. They wil sell them to him for $475. He says he can get me a pair for $475 also. Should I get them?
