i park my car at 7:15 am in our high school junior parking lot. get out, go to class, fiddle my thumbs a bit, come back out for lunch at noon, and there it is. a 1 ft x 1ft, 3 inch deep dent on the rear drivers side just above the wheel and behind the gas tank. nothing to tell me how the fuck that got there. good thing our school has survailence camera's, once i watch those and figure out who it was, im going to strangle them to death
probably some dumb bitch.
those high school drivers (not all mind you) can be some of the scariest drivers on this planet. theyll go like 30 in a parking lot with people walking around and hit their brakes at the last second and shit
friday the 13th several years ago at about 10pm our old car was parked on the street just after we got our new car so it must have been 96/97ish this 16 yr old dude pulls around the corner, rams into our car, tears through our yard, mows down a good portion of our garden and tears a whole in our fence and drives off.. some people out on the main road saw a truck driving around with the bumper hanging off, saw where it came from, followed the car and came back to our house. the police were there by that time and they gave them the licence and address that the car went to and the police went and caught the guy. I slept though the whole thing and thought it was a joke when my parents told me in the morning. then I saw the tiremarks through the yard and garden and the broken fence. that was some crazy shit.
I was parked at that big circle park in Bellevue next to the mall eating lunch with Cindy last summer (like over a year ago). The car was there for maybe 30 minutes, I came back and had a sizable dent (about 12" x 6" and an inch or two deep) on the front of my fender. idiots.
Thats SO great that you have cameras though, whoever it was is absolutely responsible, and their insurance WILL cover your damages (which sound very bad). let us know how it turns out, i'm very curious.
well yeah, i spun into an ambulence, but i did it when i lost control on black ice....i don't think im a horrible driver though, im trying to break out of the mold of "bad asian drivers." haha even i catch myself saying "ugh, asian" when i see a bad driver
plus I'm not in a position to say anything seeing that I just lost my insurance and now have to switch to one that costs 3 times as much. I'm a very emotional driver and that's bad. I run into shit when I'm upset. Chris knows that if I say "I'm so stressed out right now" that there's no way he should let me get behind the wheel of a car.
fuckin women let the emotions ruin everything!!!! so if you got dropped from your insurance, why don't you just stop driving? you don't have a car anyways
yes, being an "emotional driver" is NOT a good thing. Not safe for you, and most importantly not safe for others on the road. If you're going to be controlling a 2-ton hunk of metal going at speed, you need to have the maturity to not be "emotional" about it. people do stupid things, so what, avoid them.
but you got dropped by your insurance?!?! i'm with kevin, don't pay for crazy high risk insurance. just DON'T DRIVE. Not trying to be an ass here at all, but seriously. If you've done enough to get your insurance dropped, you need to take a step back and take a break. Clearly you need to change some habits or you will get hurt, or get someone else seriously hurt.
Chris, you have a worse record than me still I believe. I don't drive much more hecktic than anyone else, I just get caught. I have 2 tickets on my record but they looked deeper and found the other 2 that wern't on the surface. if you don't have insurace for a while, for any reason, it's REALLY hard to get picked up again. I'm not planning on driving a lot. just maybe once a month but it's enough where I would want to be covered...
i don't drive hectic, so getting caught isn't an issue. i'm a very humble driver, yet i still managed to total a car. hence my concern for emotional hectic drivers.
I've got one better, about 4yrs ago I had to drive up to seattle (living in bend Or. at the time) to meet my team manager and a few other riders to fly out to a triple crown. We took my jeep to the airport cause it was the only car big enough to get us all there. we park it paid for parking for the time we'll be gone, come back from tahoe from the triple crown and NO CAR! Stolen! no survelence nothing, they found my plates on some other stolen car abandoned on a road 4days later, my jeep was never found! I was F%#king pissed! then my Insurance comany srewed me on top of it all. Hopefully you find the f%$$%kin asshole that did it, I wish I did.
what the hell? Shouldn't the parking lot you were at be responsible in a situation like that? You are after all paying them to watch your car while you're gone.
oh, in tenesee i think, there is a law (not inforced obviously, but its still written down as a law) that if a woman is driving, there has to be a man running in front of her car holding a red flag to warn all other drivers that a woman is driving...
i couldnt stop laughing when the law teacher showed me that
^^^ thats funny..ha! yeah you would think that paying the parking people to park there they would watch it, but they have a disclaimer (small print on signs that you can barely make out up close) saying not reponsible if property is lost/stolen/damaged, so don't leave your car at the airport because it's not covered! your just paying some one to park thats it! take a taxi or get dropped off, it's not worth the headach
my friend was driving a motorcycle last week when he was hit into oncomming traffic by a car changing lanes from behind a bus. The driver of the car didnt stop and my friend was ran over by a ups truck and a car. it broke both of his legs.
he is lucky. nothing above his hip was injurd excpet his face, which has a few big ass gashes from when his helmet shatterd. he will eventually be fine after about a year or so, and he has a few months in a wheelchair. the driver got away, no one looked for who hit him cus they were all focused on making sure he was allright.
