Liberty Skis and I have joined forces to bring you an epic giveaway which will bring food into the hands of the homeless, as well as skis onto the feet of skiers. On Saturday October 8th, 2005, Shanghai Six will be premiering in Montreal at Bar Le Syndrome. As part of the festivities, everyone in attendance is encouraged to bring along a non-perishable food item. Immediately following the event, the crew will drive to the Old Brewery Mission, a homeless shelter in the city, and donate all of the goods in the name of skiers across the world. What’s more is that Liberty has kindly offered a pair of skis to the most enthusiastic donator at the event. In other words, bring a lot of food for a worthy cause, and you stand an excellent chance of leaving the event with a pair of skis in your hands. Is this the ultimate win-win situation? I think so. Please note as well that a special presentation of Shanghai Six will take place on a 9 storey tall screen at Imax Galeries de la Capitale on Friday October 7th. Tickets are currently on sale at the Imax box office.
