I am having a real problem finding a good boot. I have crappy race ones now and I have been trying on alot of different boots trying to find one that is easy for me move around in. 2 years ago I had kid boots and I only weighed 110 and only 5'4 now i am 5'11 and weigh 140. I have the hardest time one jumps. I don't have enough weight to get my skis around and I feel my boots are the problem. Anyone recomend a boot or a way to make it easier to get my skis around?
i like the x-wave 9 and i am intrested in the lange crl 80 fr. i have tried on the nordica beasts, technica flame and the 1080's. i have head edge boots
the crl is already a really soft boot and i really like that one. the beasts are also really quite flex and have a real cushy, relaxed fit 2 em. as for the salomon lineup, unless u want to pay 4 the pro model, i didn't like the fit b/c it felt hard(padding wise) and really sloppy in the toe box.
as for my recommendation, GET THE NORDICA SPEEDMACHINEs. this is quite possible one of the most comfortable boots i have ever worn in my life, right out of the box and comes with just enuf stiffness to let you rip some serious turns, while at the same time glide through the bumps.
you can soften your heads up in u want its pretty easy just remove the top cuff of the boot measure down on each side like 2.5" and drill a hole with like a 1/4 inch bit, then take a saw and saw down to the hole. put your cuff back on and your ready to ride.
