Hey I'm looking into some new skis this year, and right now I've narrowed it down to volkl karmas or head mojo 90s. I do mostly all mountain and some backcountry, with a little park skiing as well. Any recommendations?
thats a toss up. both skis r really great. if i had 2 choose, id have 2 go with the karma, just cus its $100 cheaper and should handle the park a little better (espec. switch).
Out of the 2 I would go with the karma...I rode last years models of the heads and the volkls and both were sick but the karmas are better in park as said earlier
True, the foil comes in a 182 with a 87mm waste though. The foil is actually a little wider in the tip. All 4 skis are about the same, just depends on what size you're looking for.
This is a question Iam currently contemplating...probably going to go with whichever one I can find cheaper...I am looking for which one is better all-mountain not which one is better in the park
I have a pair of 177 chronics for the park...so these would be more of a designated all mountain ski...I am thinking 185 or the 186 depending on which ski
Ive got a quick question about the Mojo 90. Im probably gonna get the Mojos this year and Ive got a quick cosmetical question about the ski that I havent figured out. Are both of the skis the same, the black topsheet with the orange detail and the orange base, or is one ski topsheet the black one and the other ski topsheet the orange one??
Does anyone know if when they sell them do they give you a choice in taking two skis with the black topsheet or do they have to sell them one with the black and one with the orange?
The Mojo's have a wider profile (124-89-117) than the Karma's (119-87-111) so the Mojo's should float better in Powder....I wish I could find the Mojo's for under 650...I found the Karma's for 550...anyone know a good place to get the Mojo's....besides my local shop?
Thanks for clearing that up for me 4skizzle. Just wondering, do you know what the site was that had all the ski pics from the SIA show or do you know where I can see both skis together?
head.com might have them up. they are definitely on here but the search bar isn't working....Um maybe google 'head mojo 90' or something. They are definitely a cool looking ski.
well I just bought last years MSP's (brand new) in 180cm...hope they are faster than my 177 chronics...got them for 425...not an aweful deal...4frnt's warranty says one year from purchase and does not mention any limitations on previous years skies so hopefuly if something goes wrong they hold up thier warranty...hope I made a good decision
By the way...I jsut got an email from 4frnt and they were really cool and said that it is one year from purchase date even though they were left overs from last year...which is how it should be..thanks 4frnt
I am not pissed...I am just saying you/he are full of shit...never did I say I felt I got a raw deal...you mean to tell me they are selling last years $600 skis with a decent binding - I am talking like a Pivot 14ti - which runs 200-250 new for 300 bucks? I would like to see proof
^^ If you really saw that deal, you're an idiot for not buying them. if you didn't want em for yourself you could have sold them on here for at least $450 if the bindings were good. At least $450.
I didn't really give two shits. Those things suck... and the bindings were crap. But still i'm not full of shit. You people just don't know how to find deals.
^WOW... dude. You are retarded. 1)how is their website lame? 2) their prices aren't high and 3)Last years 4frnts delammed like it was their job.. so why would I waste my money on them? .. waste my time buying them, finding a buyer, shipping them, handling them... it wouldn't be worth it to me to make like $50.
First of all thier website is a pain to navigate...all the products are just thrown in one big catagory and you have to look through them all...secondly what is up with on little kid modeling everything..who wants to see that face all the time?
ok buddy, you obviously don't know anything about the internet... you can search by brand name and type of equipment... you don't have to look at everything.
And you still haven't proved anything about price. They sell as low as the companies allow them to sell at.
Don't talk shit if you don't even know what you are talking about.
its more personal.. and in touch with the customer if you are directly speaking to the owner/person who is sending your stuff... I don't think its stupid at all. In fact I think its a very good business move on behalf of Jibij.
