yea i would have to agree...I have a professional boot fitter from vail at my school right now cause im in the ski industries program and salomons are generally wider than say lange or technica...plus the 1080 is such a sick freestyle boot. get it fitted though by a professional...not just the guy in the shop tryin to sell you the boot......and dont get it if its not comfortable....do what feels good to you with the fact that you need a boot that will take the type of riding you do.
get dalbellos, they are pretty beefy, better for people with wide feet. langes usually run real narrow, tecnicas are for "average" feet, and salomons run a little wider. nordica might also work, they run average-wide. these are all generalities.
