does anyone know of friendly theaters to show films at. the obvious place to look is places other companies show at.
i would be sick to go on movie tour.

look for a fun atmosphere, like a sports bar that allows all ages. If you do it in a bar, you can have alcohol and you dont have to worry about it, plus people like to go to cool bars anyway!
Also, the bar is much more likely to let you just come in and set up, as long as you pay for advertising. It is free promotion for the bar, so they are usually cool to set up a projector and a bunch of TV's and play your steeze.

convention centers and colleges but a college would probably be cheeper.

freshtival (huge ass film festival in Calgary) is in a college. or at least was last year

its at the uptown theatre this year. and freshtival isnt for amateur films no more. id try a bus to a ski hill...lots of people
