Why is it so hard to plan a trip to mammoth

i was planning on going the week befor christmas, but its to hard to get airface and a shuttle and a hotel for less then $2000 for 2 people, its rediculas, and help would be cool

sneak your self into the luggage, then sleep in the luggage and voila, you got yourself expense free travel and lodging during your stay in mammoth

i ment the whole plane trip then 6 hour drive in which you need a 4x4 or chains to get there, then the whole no hotel or lodging prices, its rediculas

its not a 6 hr drive...I went there for a vacation and it was awesome..its more like 3 hours. if someones over 22 just rent a car in reno and drive from there...i stayed in the mammoth mountain inn...but my dad payed for it so i dont know how much it was...

you can catch a shuttle from reno for around $25 you just have to pan right cause it only goes a few days a week. lodging around that time is gonna be super expensive

Buy a 24-30 inch piece of cardboard and a black magic marker...

Have an of sticky and 20 bucks to kick down for gas...walk from the airport to 395 (about 1/4 mile) site on the on-ramp with your skis and sign...
you should get a ride within 10 minutes!!
Camp at the hotsprings
Go to customer service at 10:30 in the morning the next day and tell them that someone stole your brandnew ski jacket/wallet and ID!! You 2-day lift ticket was on the jacket and your weekend is ruined...
Be convincing and "honest" they should hook you up
