Welcome to the live chat with Line Skis founder Jason Levinthal. Jason will do his very best to answer as many questions as possible during the hour but won't be able to get to everything in detail.
From your questions we'll be conducting an interview with Jason on NS Radio so we can go far more in-depth on the important issues.

do you feel that the increase in popularity of newschool skiing coupled with a huge amount of new ski companies over the psat few years has put pressure the larger ski companies to pay more to the newschool ski movement?

For 7 years when they weren't around I felt pressure not from anyone but myself to continue to innovate and progress, now is no different. We're skiers and we push ourselves.

Do you see line pursing an "urban jib ski" similar to what forum/burton has been doing except with snowboards? Something ultra Cheap, Lo-tech simple beatup skis, with an even lower price point than the fujatives

To what/whom do you attribute your company's success to? As well as, what do you see your company doing to maintain skiing's future?

Why should I buy a ski from you(again)? Seems like you guys are going in the opposite direction of others. I mean you lost most of your team, binding is going through problems(def. understandable), and you basically are being torn up on these forums. Why should I buy your ski or anything if it seems pretty bad at the moment. what seperates you from any other freeski on the market?

Will you ever make longer versions of your current skis (186+) for taller kids? It seems alot of your skis are around the mid 170 range. Why not longer?

A skiers union sounds big. Real big. I can't wait to hear more, say from the web interview and the new site?

there is no lack of pros, maybe a lack of as many as some other companies. But thats their plan which doesn't mean it needs to be ours. A pro teams is only one part of a companies program.
Very few if any of you are pros but you all play a huge roll in the progression and promotion of the sport, never overlook that.
