Scratches???

This may or may not sound dumb. IM not exactlysure. but anyway, what do you guys do if you get a big huge scratch on the underrside of your skis? Is there anyway to fix it? Thanks guys. Peace and Love.

You'll have to get a base weld if it's down to the core, but if it isn't, you can go buy some petex and just fill it in.

yea if its down to the core like ^ he said, u have a problem but if its just a scratch, you can buy a p-tex candle and meellt it in.

yea, just but p-tex at ur local shop, its only $1 and some wax and tune them up

eh, ive gouged to the core many a time, never needed a weld, i just p-texed the shit outta them, its like the duct tape of the skiing world, other than duct tape itself, which fixes everything...

the only proplem with p-tex is that it's never as hard as your original base... and eventually it will fall out... make sure you really rough up the area before you fill it
