What to ski

I'm 5'4 105 lbs. I'll be skiing park 45%, pipe 35%, and pow/big or all mtn 20% what would be a good ski for me... prices don't matter since its going to be a gift. also i go to a academy so I'll be skiing almost everyday

your best bet right now would be to go out, and buy the freeskier buyers guide, and powder buyers guide. Read. Then pick out a couple of your favorites you would want to ride. Then ask for opinions. It'll work better that way.

for some reason this thread makes me mad. It might be the fact that this kid is goin to a ski academy, doesn't know what skis to get, although he'll be skiing everyday.

a) Armada ar5 170 or 176
b) Salomon foils 174
c) K2 Public Enemies 174

also are the skis you just mentioned are they durable, I know a lot of people who broke their ar5s last year

And ar5 and Public Enemies are both nice and durrable, you won't break them at your size.

And no they wont be to stiff, ar5s are moderatly stiff same with PE, they will work great.

how could you suggest those size when not knowing his size?

he could be 4'11" and 100 lbs. it would make sense that a young kid wouldn't know what skis to get. or... he could be 7'1 and 350 lbs and needs ANTS as park skis. and they would be fucking short..

wow this man is thinking thats what i would do if i were you look for sizes around 163-169. your light so go with something soft ur best bet might be a rossi or salomon or check the 9thward mip

for the AR5 has it been to skinny for anyone in the park? or does the fact that its pretty slin make it a lot easier to throw tricks off jumps and on rails?

yeah i was going to agree with the karmas but shit your light, go with something flexy that wont weigh you down ... may i sugest one of the new lighter model 1080's
